I use Scrivener for Linux on my laptop and lately I've been yearning for a tablet version. I understand its in the works for iPad. I do read on my tablet, but like my kindle better for reading because its lighter.Eve Barbeauhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08572913012911430623noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15399507.post-80384002361689242262012-03-21T11:07:01.061-07:002012-03-21T11:07:01.061-07:00Thanks E.J.

I find it's great for first drafts but a little too small of a screen for rewriting.

I do use my Macbook Air if I'm doing a lot of writing while I'm travelling. But in many ways this iPad replaces that and I'm likely going to just travel with the iPad and pick project that work well on it. Dropbox is great, too.

haven't tried the cloudon app. Must try it. Now. : )Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14770678628958584026noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15399507.post-39303162339834731442012-03-21T10:19:15.102-07:002012-03-21T10:19:15.102-07:00Thanks for the comprehensive rundown, Art. I'll probably hold off for a gen 4, but that screen is glorious! *moth flying toward the shiny*

Are you using iPad to write on? I've got my trusty blue netbook (Old Blue) I've used for years, but it's getting long in the tooth. I'm planning to transition away from it at some point. There are a plethora of bluetooth keyboards out there and I'm using dropbox and the CloudOn app to get my Office docs on the iPad. Works pretty well. Just curious to know if you have any experience there.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00273059558675234923noreply@blogger.com
